It’s the weekend before Christmas already! Where does the time go? My students have been showering me with holiday cards and gifts and my tree isn’t looking so desolate underneath anymore! I’m really thankful for all of them and just how much they appreciate my teachings. It’s nice to be important, but it’s more important to be nice! So thank you all for making me feel so loved and important…I love and appreciate you just as much!
Everyone is so creative these days too. More homemade gifts and fancier cards please! My two students Louise and Steve gave me this card just yesterday. It features them and their two kids in yoga poses that spell the word LOVE. How great is this?! And Lori W. passed these treats to me after class today. Oh! And my close friend Sara arrived at my door with these different flours for more Yummy Yogini recipes! I’m a lucky girl and I know it!
This afternoon I put together this little recipe and those of you coming to my Ashtanga class at 4:30 today will have the pleasure of trying it! I can’t believe just how easy it is to make anything and everything taste like gingerbread. All you need is ginger, cloves and molasses and you’re set, easy peesy! These Gingerbread Brownies are flour-less and instead of using sugar, I added honey. I’ve been over indulging on holiday cookies and need to cut back on my sugar a little, if you know what I mean. Don’t fret- there’s chocolate chips in these too!
